Dolomite has extended its range of System Solutions to include a Parallel Droplet System, a reliable and versatile high throughput system for the production of up to 30,000 monodispersed micro droplets per second ranging from 20μm to 60μm in diameter.

Built around Dolomite’s industry leading Mitos P-Pump and recently launched range of Multiflux® connectors and interfaces, the Parallel Droplet System allows users to create stable monodisperse water-in-oil or oil-in-water droplets benefiting a broad range of applications such as microparticle manufacturing for pharmaceutical drug encapsulation and emulsion manufacturing for food research and production.

Featuring Dolomite’s innovative 6-Junction Droplet Chip with 6 individual flow-focussing junctions, the system is capable of consistently producing up to 600ml of emulsion over a 24-hour period.

Together with Dolomite’s Flow Resistors and Flow Sensors for closed loop flow control, the system offers users maximum flexibility enabling them to adjust pressure to control pulse free flow rates as well as optimize the system for a wide range of fluids, droplet sizes and frequency.

Dolomite’s team of microfluidic experts will be running an exclusive live demonstration of this new system at the upcoming Lab-On-A-Chip European Conference in Barcelona.
