To help promote the discovery of ocular disease and drug development, GTC is bringing together leading scientists, researchers, and experts to discuss and collaborate on the latest research and discovery, safety assessment, and drugs in development for combating and curing age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, DME, uveitis and other eye diseases at the 5th Ocular Diseases and Drug Development Conference (March 21-22, 2013 in San Francisco, CA). The last annual conference was well attended with representation from key R&D folks from GSK, Pfizer, B&L, Allergan, Alcon and this year is showing promise to be even bigger and better.

The conference agenda is currently in development. The conference will focus on the following sessions:

Session: Novel Targets, Developments and Technologies

Session: Models of Ocular Diseases and Clinical Relevance

Session: Novel Drug Delivery Methods to the Anterior and Posterior Segments

Session: Clinical Development Advances & Updates

Session: Safety Assessment and Regulatory Landscape in Ocular Drug Development

Panel Discussion: Safety and Regulatory in Ocular Development

We are in the process of trying to get Wiley Chambers over to the conference to give a presentation and Samir Patel at Ophthotech is confirmed to give a keynote presentation at the conference. Please check back in November for more details.

Sponsorship and exhibiting opportunities are available in a range of levels, which can be tailored to fit your needs. Please contact 626-256-6405 x102 or gtcsales@gtcbio.com for more information.
