This will be the premier event for academic and industrial scientists involved in early-phase drug discovery, offering opportunities for communication, networking and education.

Delegates are now invited to register for the event free of charge at http://www.elrig.org.  As in previous years the objective of this conference is to provide a communication, education and networking opportunity for scientists engaged in early-phase drug discovery whether in academia, biotech or industry.  Attendees will hear world class speakers discussing the challenges facing the drug discovery scientist.  The scientific sessions will be complemented by a poster session, a vendor exhibition with around 100 exhibitors and a number of training sessions.

Keynotes:  Jackie Hunter of Pharmaivation and Jim Hagen of GMEC will be holding a Debate – ‘Challenges Facing Drug Discovery’ at the end of Day 2 with questions and answers to follow.   Not to be missed.

The Drug Discovery Symposium will encompass eight scientific sessions:
Ion Channel Drug Discovery
Strategies to Reduce Candidate Attrition
Cells and Proteins for Drug Discovery
Modern HTS and Assay Development: Views from the Front Line
