Neuroscience & Stroke Centers Executive Leadership Conference

08 Nov 2012 - 09 Nov 2012 - The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Towers, Boston, MA

Neuroscience and stroke centers play an integral part of a healthcare provider’s service offering. Whether it enables a facility to bring in new patients or retain existing patients, neuroscience and stroke services allow the facility to treat a cross section of individuals. If run at a high degree of efficiency, maintain high quality standards and has developed a strong relationship with physicians, neuroscience and stroke centers can be an important revenue stream and prestige for hospitals at a time of healthcare transformation.

Many obstacles are found in efforts to effectively manage neuroscience and stroke centers. A lack of trust may exist between physicians and administration which leads to low physician engagement, efficiencies may be lagging, referrals from other departments may be low, managing reimbursements across a range of payers is time consuming, competition may be stiff and quality standards is difficult to maintain as demands to lower costs are being implemented. All of this is occurring as the business of providing healthcare services is undergoing unprecedented change, the ramifications of which is not well understood by many participants.

Empowering leadership by offering case studies and interactive discussions from respected program directors, the Neuroscience & Stroke Centers Executive Leadership Conference offers a unique educational and peer-to-peer networking opportunity. Likened to a two-day masters course, the Conference provides detailed studies, including step by step analysis that leaders can use to effectively navigate the issues impacting their centers to achieve improved results, greater efficiencies and cost controls while maintaining high quality standards.

The Neuroscience & Stroke Centers Executive Leadership Conference is part of the 2nd Healthcare Centers of Excellence Summit, which also includes the Bariatric Centers Executive Leadership Conference. Attendees may register for a single track or the Summit as a whole and attend both tracks.
