DiaSorin Marks Significant Growth in Molecular Extraction Kit Sales

The Milan-based Life Science Division of Voden Medical Instruments S.p.A. has been awarded DiaSorin Platinum Distributor status in recognition of their outstanding contribution to sales of the DiaSorin Arrow instrument and molecular extraction kits throughout Italy.
Meeting the specific needs of HLA (human leukocyte antigen) testing laboratories, assessing tissue compatibility in organ transplant patients, the Arrow Blood DNA extraction kit has shown particular growth and completes the Voden product offering for this important molecular investigation.

“The Arrow extraction kits not only meet the need for standardization in the laboratory but they also offer flexibility,” adds Claudio Mazzei, Sales and Applications Manager, Voden, “The Arrow instrument allows between one and 12 samples to be processed at a time, with no waste of reagents for smaller batches. Other kits don’t have this flexibility. The instrument is fully automated and very easy to use. This, combined with the flexibility to process individual samples, is ideal if an urgent transplant sample comes in during the night and needs to be analyzed quickly.”
