HardyCHROM™ MRSA, (methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus), 15x100mm plate, order by the package of 10, by Hardy Diagnostics

HardyCHROM™ MRSA is a selective and differential culture medium that facilitates the isolation and identification of methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
This new chromogenic medium simplifies the identification of MRSA infections. MRSA strains grown in the presence of chromogenic substrates produce deep pink to magenta colonies.
Selective agents will inhibit non-MRSA strains. Additional ingredients have been added to increase the sensitivity and specificity of the medium by inhibiting gram-negative organisms, yeast, and most other gram-positive cocci.hardychrommrsa_product.gif

This media is to be stored and incubated in the dark. If you have a light in your refrigerator, incubator, or you leave the media exposed to light on the bench top, Hardy Diagnostics offers free Blok-Boxes. Blok-Box is a reusable cardboard box that hold one PK10 of media plates.
