BioTector Analytical Systems, LTD (BioTector) is honored to win the prestigious Frost & Sullivan 2012 United States Product Leadership Award in Water & Wastewater Analytical Instrumentation Market.

Global research organization Frost & Sullivan assessed the performance of BioTector analyzers against key competitors using criteria such as product features and functionality, innovation, product acceptance in the marketplace, value-added enhancements and product quality.

According to Eric Meliton, Industry Analyst with Frost & Sullivan's Environmental Technologies team, "The Product Leadership award is a prestigious recognition of BioTector's accomplishments in the analytical instrumentation market. By combining strategic business expansion efforts with product innovation, BioTector has reinforced its overall market position, while focusing on product features and functionality, customer value, and overall product quality. These efforts have strengthened the innovative elements of BioTector's product lines, while enhancing their acceptance within the analytical instrumentation market."

In its Best Practices research report, Frost & Sullivan stated, “BioTector constantly develops add-on value services and extends its product line to accommodate ever-evolving needs in the market place” and “through Best Practices and a compelling word-of-mouth reputation, BioTector successfully developed robust organic growth across the U.S.”

Hach Company (Hach), a leading manufacturer and distributor of analytical instruments, test kits, and reagents used to test the quality of water and other liquids, partnered with BioTector in 2010 to become the exclusive distributor of the BioTector range of on-line liquid analyzers in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Europe. The BioTector B7000 has been a leading product in Hach’s industrial applications since that time.

A delighted CEO of BioTector, David Horan, commented, “Getting such recognition from our industry is priceless. The Frost & Sullivan Award is a great acknowledgement of the efforts and expertise of both our team here in Ireland and our partner, Hach, who manage our sales and support in the US. Confirmation that BioTector is an industry leader in the United States is also very rewarding for the team at Hach who work so hard to provide our mutual end customers with the best analytical products.”
