Thermo Fisher Scientific has released a new line of polymeric solid-phase extraction cartridges, Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ Polymeric SolEx™ Solid Phase Extraction Cartridges for the AutoTrace 280 Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) system, for the extraction of organic contaminants from liquid matrices prior to GC, GC/MS and LC/MS analysis.

The phases are designed for compatibility, but not limited to use with the AutoTrace 280 SPE instrument.

These cartridges provide the advantages of being pH stable between pH 1 - 14, are easily wettable in aqueous environments, and have the ability to retain and release very hydrophobic analytes.

The cartridges are intended to be used for sample preparation for the following applications:
• Drinking water analysis for analytes of human health concern routinely monitored by the U.S. EPA Unregulated Contaminant Monitoring Rule (UCMR3).
• Concentration of polychlorinated biphenyls, semivolatile organic compounds, dioxins, furans, pharmaceuticals, & personal care products from waste water.
• Monitoring polyphenols in wine and tea, and, pesticides in wine, tea, or milk.
