Cap Strips Offer Targeted Area Microplate Sealing

New cap strips provides high integrity sealing of deep well plates.

Porvair Sciences has introduced a new range of cap strips that provide high integrity sealing of deep well plates (2ml, 1ml and 350ul square well) as well as its Microlute 96 well SPE/Protein Precipitation plates.

The new caps come in strips of eight enabling the user to securely seal samples in just a selected area of a microplate.

Manufactured from durable EVA polymer, the centre of each cap has a thinner area enabling multichannel pipette or robotic probes to quickly and easily pierce and remove sample without generating aerosols or other sources of cross-contamination.

Providing secure sample protection from -80°C to +80°C, Porvair cap strips are supplied in boxes of 300.
