Bioo Scientific has announced the launch of the NEXTflex™ Pre- and Post- Capture Combo Kit (Agilent SureSelectXT2 Compatible), a complete Illumina-compatible library prep solution containing all reagents required upstream and downstream of probe hybridization to prepare sequence-ready, multiplexed capture libraries compatible with all SureSelectxt2 bait sets.
The NEXTflex Pre- and Post- Capture Combo Kit (Agilent SureSelectXT2 Compatible) offers a number of advantages over the competition including a faster library prep protocol producing libraries with a higher percentage of on-target reads, more robust amplification and better coverage.
This kit can be used to improve the performance of any of Agilent’s SureSelectXT2 custom and pre-defined panels including the exome, kinome and inherited disease panels.
The NEXTflex Pre- and Post- Capture Combo Kit (Agilent SureSelectXT2 Compatible) incorporates the NEXTflex™ Rapid DNA-Seq Kit, a rapid Illumina-compatible DNA library prep kit which produces libraries for upstream target capture from as little as 100 ng of DNA in only two hours.
The NEXTflex barcode blocker technology incorporated into the NEXTflex Pre- and Post- Capture Combo Kit (Agilent SureSelectXT2 Compatible) allows for maximum binding efficiency through index-specific blocking oligos, greatly reducing the number of off-target reads encountered in target capture assays.
Additionally, utilization of NEXTflex reagents with SureSelectXY2 bait sets improves target capture efficiency by incorporating a robust library preparation workflow and hybridization efficiency improvements.
