LabAnswer is set to Provide Market-Leading Scientific Data Management and Laboratory Informatics Services to Federal Agencies through Government-Wide Acquisition Contract

LabAnswer has announced that it has received a prime award for the Chief Information Officer-Solutions and Partners 3 (CIO-SP3) small business contract. CIO-SP3 is a ten year, multiple-award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling of $20 billion. "We are committed to helping government researchers accelerate science while reducing administrative burdens." states Mark Everding, LabAnswer Managing Partner. Lab Answer's success has come from focusing in the areas of laboratory informatics, scientific computing, and scientific data management. With its industry-proven methodologies and a seasoned team of laboratory and scientific IT professionals, LabAnswer is ready to provide exceptional service and value.

CIO-SP3 is an IDIQ Government-Wide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) that is managed and administered under the direction of the National Institutes of Health Information Technology Acquisition and Assessment Center (NITAAC). The contract is designed to provide for health, health science, and biomedical-related IT services to meet scientific, health, administrative, operational, managerial, and information management requirements. It gives the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the Department of Health and Human Services, and all other federal agencies a streamlined ordering process to acquire a wide range of IT services and solutions to satisfy new and upcoming requirements more efficiently.
