HealthLinkNow Integrates SBR Health

HLN and SBR announced HLN has selected SBR’s video call routing and management solution to manage virtual patient-provider visits on HLN’s telemedicine network.

Now, HLN providers can schedule and conduct virtual patient appointments securely in the cloud with the same virtual visit platform used by top US healthcare delivery organizations such as Partners Healthcare, Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, Joslin Diabetes Center and Boston Children’s Hospital.

HLN uses secure videoconferencing to allow patients to find, schedule and connect to health providers from a hospital, clinic or from the privacy of their home, office, or anywhere with an internet connection. Much like booking an airline ticket online, HLN patients have a simple and secure portal that provides direct access to care at any time, location, and using any device. Healthcare providers can now spend more time with patients as HLN handles the billing and scheduling, while providing an electronic health record and secure videoconferencing system.

Healthcare providers and patients will benefit from the HLN-SBR partnership as the SBR solutions are uniquely designed as clinical overlays with the technology in the background, allowing clinicians to receive, and deliver care to anyone, regardless of location and time. “The HealthLinkNow online clinic and the care we bring through telemedicine to hospitals, health systems and organizations, as well as to people in their homes, are ideally suited for patients who live in geographically inaccessible areas or have time or work constraints in physically accessing their providers,” states Barb Johnston, HealthLinkNow CEO and co-founder. “It will also give physicians an easy and cost-effective way to deliver their services over a high-quality telemedicine network, something that has been a barrier to adoption for many clinics and individual providers.”
