golims LIMS

Product Description

GoInformatics' golims LIMS solution is designed for small to medium-sized laboratories in academia, healthcare, biotech, and other industries. golims aggregates LIMS, electronic notebook, and study management functionality with enhanced accessibility and substantially lower total cost of ownership, by leveraging the emergence of the Software as a Service (SaaS) model, making this vital functionality immediately available to all laboratories. This web-based solution allows those labs the ability to organize studies, experiments, and sample inventories, with a tool that is cost-efficient, easy to learn, and always available. golims combines critical functionality that has been typically accessible only to the larger, better-funded laboratories and provides it as a service to budget conscience small and medium-sized laboratories. Having worked in the software development industry for a combined total of 20 years, with the past four years exclusively focused on laboratory information management systems, the golims management team has experienced firsthand the challenges of obtaining and using existing LIMS software.

golims allows principal investigators, research assistants and lab technicians to:
- Track samples and their locations, and capture required associated data
- Connect people and procedures, to collaborate using an always-available central system
- Generate universally unique barcodes, for more efficient operating procedures
- Collect unlimited experiment observations including charts, graphs and pictures
- Manage documents and images by connecting important files with studies, observations, samples, etc.
- Conform to comprehensive security and regulatory compliance (21 CFR Part 11, GLP, HIPAA)
