Contamination Information Management System (CIMS)

Product Description

Hollison Technologies provides solutions for ensuring and maintaining food safety and security. They have developed a range of products and services for food protection and the detection of contaminants in the food supply chain including, but not limited to, suppliers, bulk storage facilities, commodity transportation, food processing, food distribution and point of consumption. They provide capabilities for the protection of the entire food supply chain with the detection and identification of chemical, biological and radiological contamination in food commodities, processed food and beverages.

Hollison's secure web-based Contamination Information Management System (CIMS) tracks contamination data and test results across the entire food value chain involving multiple entities, providers, transporters or producers. According to the company, unlike traditional LIMS which only operate within a facility or entity, the Hollison CIMS application allows data from across the entire food supply chain to be managed and viewed. The CIMS application also provides the capability of tracking contamination test results along the entire food value chain or at key HACCPs.

The secure web-based CIMS application is provided as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) subscription model or can be hosted internally within the user's facility. The application adheres to strict security procedures similar to those utilized in the banking and financial community. Rights managed individual User IDs enable the right person to see and have access to only specific information and capabilities. Strict adherence to best-in-class security ensures sensitive and private data is protected.
