Significant features include functional as well as performance enhancements.

LabWare, a worldwide leader in enterprise laboratory automation solutions and supplier of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), as well as Electronic Laboratory Notebook solutions (ELN) has announced LabWare 7.

LabWare’s product packaging includes scalable editions to suit every organisation including: LabWare 7; LabWare ELN; and a combined solution that delivers the comprehensive capabilities of both LIMS and ELN in a single completely integrated system. Both LabWare 7 as well as LabWare ELN may be implemented as stand-alone solutions fully capable of being interfaced into an organisation’s existing ecosystem.

Some of the significant features of LabWare 7 include:
Functional enhancements; more than 500 new capabilities have been added to the system’s already robust functional footprint, which has been continually improved without interruption since the product’s inception.

A new interactive Dynamic User Interface; interactive and browser independent workflows and dashboards that utilise the latest HTML5 and JavaScript web technologies. Dynamic Dashboards can present near real time business analytics so that managers and laboratory supervisors can obtain key performance indicators about their business. These Dynamic Visual Workflows and Dashboards are created using a new LabWare Design Studio that provides a WYSIWYG environment for their creation and modification, without the need for programming skills.

A platform for new Mobile Applications; LabWare 7 is LabWare’s strategic platform for a future suite of Mobile Applications targeted for the Android and IOS platforms.

Performance enhancements; as an industry leader in enterprise scale deployments, LabWare continually endeavours to deliver the greatest possible system performance. LabWare 7 delivers in this key area through the introduction of new technologies within our powerful macro scripting language.

Browser enhancements; continual adoption and use of the latest web technologies such as HTML5 and other LabWare-developed innovations provide improved consistency across deployment modes, accelerate LabWare’s delivery of future functional enhancements, and offer investment protection for all LabWare customers.
