Cerner to Replace DoD's Anatomic Pathology Laboratory Information System

The Defense Health Agency (DHA) has selected Cerner, which competed and successfully won an award, to replace the Military Health System's (MHS) existing anatomic pathology laboratory information system.
Cerner will issue its CoPathPlus® software licenses and implement server hardware, peripheral equipment and services throughout all Department of Defense (DoD) military treatment facility anatomic pathology laboratories around the world.
The CoPathPlus deployment will provide comprehensive anatomic pathology workflow automation, management reporting and quality-assurance functionality to the MHS. For four consecutive years, CoPathPlus has earned the KLAS: Software and Services Category Leader title.

The DHA enables the Army, Navy and Air Force medical services to provide a medically ready force to Combatant Commands in both peacetime and wartime.
