Large Volume Plates for Storage / Transport Applications

Porvair Sciences offers a range of high quality, large volume microplates (5ml, 7ml and 10ml) to meet the special requirements of storage / transport applications in combinatorial chemistry, environmental and food technology markets.

Produced under class 10,000 clean room conditions from virgin polypropylene, each 24-well (10ml) and 48-well (5ml and 7ml) plate contains no contaminants that may leach out and affect the samples being stored or transported.

All these large volume plates can be heat sealed or capped with flexible polymer “cap mats” to enable high integrity storage of samples for prolonged periods at -80°C.

The wells of each large volume plate are rectangular in shape with a 'v' bottom to facilitate easy sample concentration and recovery.

Porvair large volume microplates are precisely manufactured to ANSI/SLAS-1 (2004) Footprint Dimensions making them fully compatible with automated liquid handling systems and other robotic sample processing equipment.

Porvair large volume microplates are available in sterile or non-sterile versions.

Every batch of Porvair Sciences' sterile large volume plates is rigorously tested to validate their contamination-free status.
