Company expands its sales network and service support for all customers in India.

Syrris has formally announced the incorporation of their Indian subsidiary at the beginning of June 2009. With a sales and support office in Mumbai as well as a sales office in Vadodara, Syrris Scientific Equipment Pvt. Ltd. will enable service and support for all customers in India.

Syrris design and manufacture flow chemistry, microreactor and automation products for research and development chemists. Syrris’s flow chemistry products include the FRX, a modular flow chemistry system and Africa, a fully automated microreactor flow system. Syrris’s batch reactor products include Atlas, a manual or automated system for control of one or parallel reactions up to 5 litres in vials, flasks or jacketed reactors.

These products have already been sold throughout India in places such as Delhi, Ahmadabad, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Bangalore and Kolkata via distributors.

In particular, the Atlas Calorimeter System has been a great success, with its ability to provide temperature control with accurate results. This system is easy-to-use with both Heat Flow Calorimetry (HFC) and Power Compensation Calorimetry (PCC). Furthermore, analysis is made simple as power and enthalpy graphs can be generated with a single click.

“This is an extremely exciting development for Syrris”, commented Mike Hawes, Head of Sales and Marketing. He continued, “Establishing a subsidiary office in India reflects the rapid growth and success of the Syrris product range. As a location in which we have already experienced a vast amount of success, this timely expansion will provide us with access to world leading academic institutions, as well as the growing chemical and pharmaceutical industry within the rapidly emerging Indian market.”
