Merck Millipore has announced two upcoming chromatography User Group Meetings that will be held at The Fairmont San Francisco in California.

The 9th Annual ProSep® User Group Meeting will occur November 13-14, followed by the 1st Annual Ion Exchange User Group Meeting November 15-16.

User Group Meetings attract global biotechnology and biopharmaceutical industry professionals, including those in chromatography R&D, process development, production management and engineering.

This year marks Merck Millipore's ninth ProSep® User Group Meeting, and for the first time, the company will also be hosting a similar meeting for ion exchange chromatography users.

These technical forums allow end users to share lessons learned and best practices, as well as identify existing challenges and discuss trends and future needs.

The 9th Annual ProSep® User Group Meeting will be chaired by Bioprocess Consultant Gregory Blank, Ph.D. The meeting will include topics such as:
• Method development case studies
• High throughput screening
• Cycling studies
• Viral clearance studies
• Secondary wash optimization
• Cleaning and sanitization strategies
• Optimized resin column packing
