CPSU_FP_01102013a.gifNow available with a Hastelloy® flowpath for ultimate chemical compatibility, the FlowSyn Maxi is a versatile and highly productive continuous flow reactor for high-throughput single reactions with two reagents.

This highly robust system is capable of operating at 260°C, at a maximum pressure up to 200 bar, and withstanding contact with corrosive fluids such as sulphuric and nitric acid. With a flow rate of up to 80 ml/ min and the option to use Uniqsis’ high capacity (60 ml) coil reactor, it is the ideal scale-up tool for increasing your output to multi kg per day.

With Uniqsis’ intuitive and highly flexible FlowControl software you can program and automate sequences of flow chemistry experiments with an unprecedented degree of freedom. Simply start with the molarity and number of equivalents of each reagent required and then define the reactor temperatures and residence times.

The user interface quickly guides you through the process of setting up your desired flow chemistry reactions, and the system then automatically runs the experiment, finishing with a self-cleaning routine at the end of the program cycle. Comprehensive safety features, including automatic pressure regulation and over-pressure shut-down, ensure safe operation at all times.

Uniqsis offers extensive “plug and play” options for temperature controlled static mixers and coil reactors, including the FlowSyn 60 ml coil reactor kit specifically designed for scale-up.

CPSU_FP_01102013b.gifThe FlowSyn Maxi can be expanded with the Uniqsis Binary Pump Module (BPM) to provide four reagent inputs and with other FlowSyn modules for automated multi-experiment and multi-step combinatorial capability. Optional cooling modules, with cooling capacities down to -88°C, are available for controlling highly exothermic reactions.
