Breathing Life Into Your Analytical Data

During the first part of the webinar Ryan Sasaki, director of global strategy at ACD/Labs, will discuss how to achieve better returns from analytical data generation. For the latter half, Steve Thomas, investigator at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), one of the world’s leading research-based pharmaceutical and health care companies, will share how their DMPK group is successfully using analytical data to improve global health care collaboration.

The webinar is open to anyone but will be particularly useful to analytical chemists, scientist, laboratory managers, research executives, scientific investigators and reporters covering these fields.

WHO: Ryan Sasaki will introduce the traditional “one-and-done” data life cycle and how the problem directly relates to the massive amounts of “dead” data that exist within a laboratory environment.

Steve Thomas will share how scientists can search, retrieve and re-apply “live” data findings with a technology framework based on Unified Laboratory Intelligence (ULI) principles to create a more intelligent R&D environment. 

WHY: Foster a discussion on data management solutions in the scientific field, while showcasing how an investigator from a renowned research group is leading the charge. Some of the major issues will be highlighted, the symptoms of those issues, and how the secret recipe is to breathe life into dead data by applying it to the chemical context.
