The conference on SCBT will be held at the historical Meadow Brook Hall on Oakland University's campus. The conference will address the latest advancements in basic and applied stem cell research including developmental and age-related diseases, cancers, regenerative medicine, as well as drug design and discovery.

The conference will feature workshops, lectures, symposia, and poster presentations on selected topics by leaders in the field from academia and industry.

The anticipated participants include scientists and clinicians from academia, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies, research organizations, and regulatory agencies. In addition, the conference will provide an opportunity to educate the general public in ethical and scientific issues concerning stem cell research and clinical applications.
