acu-background-200.jpgBMG LABTECH offers a dual gas control feature on all Omega series microplate readers, as well as the NEPHELOstar Plus. The Atmospheric Control Unit (ACU) independently controls and regulates both CO2 and O2 to effectively control the internal atmosphere of the microplate chamber.

The proprietary design of the microprocessor controlled Atmospheric Control Unit provides the highest level of atmospheric flexibility by incorporating dual independent control of both CO2 and O2. This eliminates the need for costly pre-mixed gas tanks and expands the range of possible atmospheric gas ratios. Each control valve is regulated to ensure precise gas measurements. The oxygen can be monitored from 1-19% and CO2 can be accurately adjusted between 0-20%.
The Atmospheric Control Unit is compatible with all Omega series microplate readers, as well as the NEPHELPstar Plus nephelometer. The ACU provides a solution to all atmosphere sensitive assays, including:
