A true point-scanning confocal microscope reliably automated as a turnkey solution for high-throughput imaging that streamlines the work flow required to conduct almost any cell-based screening project.
Leveraging Molecular Devices' 10-year commitment to quality high content imaging systems, the ImageXpress® Ultra HCS System is a fast, reliable, research-grade point scanning confocal solution that streamlines high-throughput imaging and hit selection in a fully integrated environment. Utilizing the best X, Y, and Z positioning available, the system precisely locates and identifies sub-cellular features such as clathrin coated pits or tiles together high resolution images to quantify neuronal length. Rapid positioning in combination with the laser autofocus option furnishes users with intuitive tools to quantify heterogeneous multi-parametric responses, improving the high content screening workflow.

The system's optical mechanical calibration routines are fully automated and transparent to end-users, allowing you to start your previously configured experiment in a few minutes without the need for any user driven calibration routines. Once running, you can confidently walk away from the instrument when doing fully integrated 24/7 screens and be confident that you will get the same high quality confocal data from the first to the last well of your screening campaign.
