IDT continues its successful stream of educational and informative webinars.

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is presenting an interactive webinar entitled, ‘Rapid and reliable gene construction with gBlocks™ Gene Fragments and Gibson Assembly™ method’.

Taking place on June 19 and 20 across three different time zones the webinar has been scheduled to allow convenient participation, on a global scale, across the US, EU and Asia.

Scientific Applications Specialist Dr Adam Clore (PhD in molecular genetics and virology) will present a novel, rapid, and reliable method to build and clone the genes required for constructing native DNA sequences - and all this at a fraction of the cost of full gene synthesis services.

Dr Clore will demonstrate how gBlocks (double-stranded DNA molecules of up to 500 bp in length) are compatible with most published cloning methods, including the Gibson Assembly method.

The high sequence fidelity and DNA purity of gBlocks Gene Fragments, alongside their unparalleled flexibility, make this novel gene construction tool a unique addition to any cloning tool kit.

The webinar will discuss the range of synthetic biology applications for gBlocks Gene Fragments, as well as troubleshooting recommendations and further support offered by IDT.
