Bibby Scientific Ltd has announced that it will be exhibiting some of its newest technologies and offering an exclusive 10% discount to visitors to their stand, G5, at Lab Innovations 2016. Bibby Scientific will showcase the latest products from Jenway, Electrothermal, PCRmax, Stuart and Techne. Lab Innovations 2016 is the UK’s only event dedicated to lab professionals and returns to the NEC, Birmingham, from the 2nd to the 3rd of November after five consecutive years.

The new PCRmax Alpha Cycler 2, dual block thermal cycler, will be revealed at the event. The AC-2 consists of two truly independent blocks in one chassis, providing multi-block flexibility within a compact, space-saving footprint. Featuring an android OS interface coupled to a mobile app, users can scan a QR code to allow remote monitoring of their runs. This feature is unique to the Alpha Cycler range, and combined with its user-friendly and intuitive software, ensures that your lab will save time and money.

The event is also a great opportunity to see the first visible scanning Jenway spectrophotometer which uses advanced diode array technology, the new 7200 spectrophotometer. This technology ensures excellent wavelength reproducibility and provides fast scanning results. Due to its diverse range of measurement modes it is also ideal for a variety of applications, from education to routine testing in clinical and pharmaceutical laboratories.

It can either be programmed to allow walk-away recording of sample melting, or the melt can be observed live via its 7" high definition colour touchscreen.

"We pride ourselves on developing high performance equipment that is accessible for all users, while being of the best quality. We are looking forward to having the opportunity to show the great services and products we provide at Lab Innovations, and hope our customers will take advantage of our event exclusive 10% discount," said Jeremy Lea, Commercial Director at Bibby Scientific.
