34th Annual LORNE GENOME Conference 2013

The Lorne Genome Conference is Australia's foremost conference on the organisation and expression of the Genome. The topics covered within this general theme include: Comparative Genomics and Evolution, Epigenetics and Epigenomics, Emerging Technologies, Computational Biology, Disease Genetics and Medical Genomics, RNA Regulation, Transcriptional Networks, Chromosome Structure and Dynamics, Chromatin Structure, Developmental Genetics, Nuclear Organisation, Population Genetics and Genomics, Regulation of gene expression and Systems Biology. This is an annual 2.5 day single stream conference open to national and international delegates in its 34th year. 

The Conference facilitates delegates hearing a high proportion of cutting edge research talks by international speakers at the top of their field, complemented by excellent invited local speakers. There is additional room in the program accommodating a number of talks selected from abstracts. A session is devoted to student talks, and friendly poster sessions are a feature allowing scientists at all levels to present their work. The meeting encourages researchers to meet and share their experiences, encouraging collaboration on a local and international level.
