Thin Film & Crystal Growth Mechanisms
06 Jul 2013 - 07 Jul 2013 - University of New England, Biddeford, ME
The focus of the 2013 Thin Film and Crystal Growth Mechanisms Gordon Research Seminar is to discuss cutting-edge research on the mechanisms behind the growth of crystals, thin-films, and particles. Topics such as crystal surface and interface kinetics, biomineralization and biomimetics, phase-changes from solutions, and nanoparticle / nanowire structures will be featured in this year’s GRS.
The meeting will feature approximately 10 talks and 2 poster sessions. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster. Therefore, all applications must include an abstract.
The Chairs will select speakers from abstracts submitted by April 6, 2013. Those applicants who are not chosen for talks and those who apply after the deadline to be considered for an oral presentation will be expected to present a poster.
