FACSS, the Federation of Analytical Chemistry and Spectroscopy Societies presents SciX, spanning the breadth of analytical chemistry with over 100 symposia, plenary lectures, awards, poster sessions, and exhibits. New and innovative contributions are at the heart of the FACSS goal of fostering scientific exchange. Space is dedicated in every oral session for contributed papers. FACSS was established in 1973 as a federation combining many smaller meetings into one internationally-recognized conference. FACSS consists of 11 member organization: The Electrophoresis Society (AES), the American Chemical Society (ACS) Analytical Division, the American Society for Mass Spectrometry (ASMS), the Association of Analytical Chemists (ANACHEM), the Coblentz Society, the Infrared and Raman Discussion Group (IRDG), the International Society for Automation (ISA) - Analysis Division, the North American Society for Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (NASLIBS), the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) Analytical Division, the Society for Applied Spectroscopy (SAS), and the Spectroscopical Society of Japan (SpSJ).
