The concept of the SpectraMax® Paradigm® is that there are several cartridge options which can be combined to create your own customisable microplate reader to suit your needs meaning that you do not have to compromise your research. The SpectraMax® Paradigm® has two cartridge draws, each which can hold up to 6 cartridges meaning your custom microplate reader can hold up to 12 cartridges and perform a multitude of applications.

Every detection cartridge starts with a wavelength-tuned excitation energy source either in the form of long-life, high-powered LED or xenon flash lamp. Concentrating the excitation energy on the sample through label-specific optics, high levels of sensitivity and performance are reached. All this combined in the detection cartridge creates the ultimate no-compromise multi-mode detection platform. TUNE Detection Cartridge - Next-generation monochromator for FI, Lumi, TRF

The SpectraMax® Paradigm® is the first microplate reader with TUNE technology, which enables the freedom to select the excitation and emission wavelengths that best fit your assay with up to 10x higher fluorescence sensitivity compared to traditional monochromator technologies. TUNE also enables spectral optimization via SoftMax® Pro software with an option to automatically maximize signal-to-noise by scanning through excitation and emission wavelengths simultaneously, saving you over 50% on assay optimization time.

SoftMax® Pro Software

SoftMax® Pro Software control and data analysis are fully integrated with the SpectraMax® Paradigm®. The system's unique design makes it the only user-upgradeable microplate reader on the market with the flexibility to accommodate a full range of system configurations.

With the largest built-in library of assay protocols that contain optimized reader settings and pre-defined calculations, SoftMax® Pro Software combines reader control and data analysis to improve laboratory efficiency with result reporting as the raw data is being generated. Sophisticated curve fitting and statistics provide more in-depth bioassay analysis, reducing the need for laborious and error-prone copying and pasting between software applications.

SoftMax® Pro Software has been integrated into leading automation and LIMS workflows, offering text and advanced XML import/export of samples and data for more intelligent parsing.
