BioTek Instruments Announces Establishment of Korean Office

Managed by Mr. Yunki Kyung, the new direct sales and service organization will focus on growing BioTek's brand and expanding direct service and application support for our growing customer base in South Korea.

BioTek Korea will be fully functional by July 1, 2011. BioTek's long-time partner and distributor, DI Biotech, will work closely with BioTek Korea to ensure a seamless transition for the company's existing and expanding customer base.

"The establishment of BioTek Korea will allow BioTek to increase our investment of resources in this very important marketplace," commented Briar Alpert, BioTek President and CEO. "In addition to providing incremental local service and application support, our customers in South Korea will have direct access to the company's global scientific and applications resources. Ultimately, this will lead to enhanced customer satisfaction for our Korean customers."
