Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is embracing world cup fever this year with its SciTourney™ contest - a world cup competition with a scientific twist! Each of the 32 national teams participating in Brazil will be represented by a Drosophila melanogaster gene, making the contest a fun way for the scientific community to take part in the world’s greatest football tournament and discover fun facts about Drosophila at the same time.

Simply register for free by June 12th and pick winners of the group stage matches and then return on June 27th to pick winners of the elimination stages.

Prizes include a 13″ MacBook Air, 32 GB iPad Mini, and official 2014 team gear. Make sure users and their colleagues are “in-it-to-win-it”, as registration closes on Thursday, June 12th at 4pm Eastern Time.

The global competition reinforces IDT’s worldwide customer base and coincides with the first anniversary of the opening of its Singapore facility.

Celebrating a particularly successful 12 months, IDT Singapore is now delivering locally-manufactured, highest quality oligonucleotides to customers in over 17 countries across the Asia-Pacific region.
