reveRT™ First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit

Product Description
The reveRT™ First Strand cDNA Synthesis Kit offers a complete system for the efficient synthesis of first strand/chain cDNA from RNA templates. This kit utilizes M-MuLV Reverse Transcriptase which has significantly less RNase H activity than AMV reverse transcriptase. Full length cDNA products of more than 10 kb can be generated with this kit. The kit contains two optimized solutions, reveRT™ Enzyme Mix and reveRT™ Reaction Mix, allowing the user to easily begin first strand synthesis. The kit contains an anchored oligo-dT primer which forces the primer to anneal to the beginning of the poly(A) tail. The kit also works well with primers designed by the user. Below is an example of first strand cDNA product generated using this kit (Figure 1).
