HU25 Maxi-Plus Standard: High throughput separations with the maxi-plus standard horizontal

Product Description
Scie-Plas™ Green Range™ horizontal gel electrophoresis units offer the ultimate standards in innovative design and manufacture, acquired during our 20-year existence. The Scie-Plas Green Range horizontal gel electrophoresis units currently comprise models with gel tray sizes ranging from 6 x 7.5 to 25 x 30cm. All models incorporate many design and safety features recommended by scientists, either from within our in-house product development team or laboratories worldwide. As a result, all our models are manufactured and finished to the highest specification, easy to use, and, with safety always paramount, CE-marked - conforming to European safety regulations.

The HU25 Maxi-Plus standard horizontal gel unit is designed specifically for high throughput screening of nucleic acids, particularly PCR products and in genotyping studies. A 25 x 30cm gel-casting tray, with 12 positions for multichannel-compatible combs, accommodates a maximum throughput of 624 samples. Buffer recirculation ports are included as standard to prevent buffer depletion and ion gradient formation during long-distance separations. Casting gates with integral silicone seals provide leak-free and tape-free gel-casting either within the tank or externally, whereas HU25-SS Scie-Plas Super-Seals give the user the option of flexible gel-casting.
