Specialist laboratory relocation expert, Andrew Porter Limited, has further expanded its service portfolio.

It anticipates that its two latest services will increase its market share throughout Europe and further reinforce its claim to provide the ‘gold standard’ for laboratory relocations.

Andrew Porter Limited, headquartered in the UK, can now support the revalidation of assays and provide independent third party laboratory audits to GLP/GCP standard.  Both these additional services underpin the company’s extensive and unique service proposition.

Renowned for its quality of staff training and strict adherence to regulatory standards, as well as its specialist integration of services, the firm is the only one of its type operating in Europe to comply with GxP standards.

European sales director, John Best, explained why Andrew Porter Limited’s services are held in such high regard within the industry.

“It is well known that relocating a laboratory environment is not a straight forward process, but the fact is that choosing an inexperienced relocations provider can lead to devastating consequences,” he said.

“Our focus is primarily on regulatory adherence, as well as reducing laboratory downtime, which has a potential impact on time to market.  We also manage the physical aspect of moving a laboratory, which can be incredibly complex when relocating high value, sensitive instrumentation at the same time as temperature controlled materials, data and dangerous goods.”

He continued: “Being able to assist customers to re-establish and revalidate assays alongside the process required for instrumentation, as well as offering our CRO customers valuable independent third party auditing opportunities, will help us to deliver truly turnkey solutions way beyond many of the primitive removal services for labs which currently exist in the market place.

“Our network is expanding globally as we convert projects throughout Europe and we are striving to deliver a mature and technically driven service that can match this need as we grow.”
