Researchers recently created the first genomic catalog of the vaginal microbiome, named VIRGO. LUCA Biologics are harnessing data from VIRGO to develop live biotherapeutics for widespread, unmet medical needs in women's health. This includes urinary tract infections (UTIs), estimated to impact half of women globally, and pre-term birth. We spoke with LUCA Biologics to find out more.
