The agreement covers distribution of Duolink regent kit based on PLA® technology.

Olink Bioscience has signed a distributorship agreement with Beijing Pioneer Medical Instrument Co., Ltd for distribution of the Duolink® product line in China.

"We are proud to announce the collaboration with this highly respected company" says Peter Karlberg, Director of Sales and Marketing at Olink Bioscience and continues "this agreement represents a huge commercial opportunity for Olink Bioscience and we are confident that this will bring us valuable new business both in the academic and the biotech/pharmaceutical industry throughout the country".

"The Duolink regent kit based on PLA® technology is exactly the kind of product PioneerBiomed is looking for that meet our customers demands for new and innovative research products" says Jason Zhihuan Wang, President and CEO of PioneerBiomed.

The Duolink product line is based on Olink Bioscience proprietary in situ PLA, a proximity ligation assay technology that extends the capabilities of traditional protein techniques to include direct detection of proteins, protein interactions and modifications with unparalleled specificity and sensitivity. Target proteins are detected with single molecule resolution, allowing digital quantification and information about the exact localization of the target. Furthermore, the proteins can be studied at normal expression levels in fixed cells and tissue sections.
