Select Biosciences, organisers of European Lab Automation (ELA) 2012, has incorporated Separation and Detection as one of the eight available conference streams.

Originally presented as Advances in Separation Technology at the inaugural ELA conference in 2011, Separation and Detection has been created to enable delegates to attend all the talks and to increase their knowledge in these closely related and expanding fields. Separation and Detection will feature a combination of keynote presentations from renowned speakers including Rainer Bischoff of the University of Groningen, Attila Felinger of the University of Pécs and Han Maurer of Saarland University with additional talks on the following:

•    Novel Separation Techniques and Methodologies
•    Novel Technologies for Separation
•    Small Molecule Applications
•    Separation Science for MS
•    Protein Analysis
•    Trapped Ions

The ELA conference will run from 30th-31st May at the Conference Center Hamburg, Germany and will also feature an exhibition showcasing the latest developments in automation.
