WHEATON® to Launch New Website Supporting Clinical and Life Science Customers

Consolidating its brand in the UK, WHEATON is providing local support and access to a full line of liquid handling and packaging products whilst maintaining stocking supply for the NHS.

Laboratory Sales Limited (LSL) has become WHEATON, offering researchers and clinicians a single brand name for pharmaceutical, diagnostic, biotechnology and cosmetic packaging products.

Supporting the consolidation, WHEATON has launched www.wheaton-uk.com, a new website that offers access to the products and manufacturing services formerly available from LSL.

Here, customers will find one of the U.K.’s premier suppliers of high quality glass and plastic consumables including tubular and moulded glass vials, dropper pipettes, test tubes, sample containers, ampoules and packaging products.

As an inventory stock supplier to the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK, WHEATON features its extensive clinical products portfolio on the website and is offering a new Clinical Products Guide brochure.

WHEATON is dedicated to providing today’s most innovative solutions for the laboratory research, diagnostic packaging and specialty pharmaceuticals industries.

The new WHEATON website provides our UK customers a sleek user interface, supports faster navigation, and is designed for improved product searchability.

Like its American counterpart, the UK site sets a new standard for user friendliness and interactivity. Links are provided to Twitter and Facebook for sharing and commenting on site content and posts are regularly updated.

The new UK website leverages the strength and recognition of the global WHEATON name whilst maintaining and enhancing manufacturing capabilities and product portfolios.

After the launch of the new website in mid-November, it is expected that the changeover will be complete by 1st January 2013.

“We acquired Laboratory Sales Limited (LSL) nearly two years ago and wanted to make it easier for scientists to find our products and get the support they need,” says Wayne Brinster, president of WHEATON.

“Going forward as WHEATON makes it easier to do business with us, giving scientists more time to pursue their investigations…and we know that the science comes first,” he added.
