Immucor Launches Enhanced Customer Education Platform

Immucor LEARN is an effective, innovative solution which enables increased access to training and expert insights.

Immucor, Inc., has announced the launch of its innovative e-learning customer education platform, Lab Education And Resource Network (LEARN).

LEARN enables blood bank professionals to gain knowledge about their field and connect with peers through interactive case studies and online educational materials.

The LEARN platform is an important tool for those seeking to increase their blood bank knowledge and skills and it also allows them to earn P.A.C.E. credits.

"As a long-standing leader in blood bank diagnostics, Immucor is answering our customers' need for learning opportunities that increase flexibility and minimize costs and travel time. We turned to Knowledge Anywhere, a leader in education in the diagnostics market, to improve and expand upon our current customer education processes," said Bill Childs, Immucor's Director of North American Marketing.

"We previewed the LEARN System with our customers at the 2012 AABB Annual Meeting and received an overwhelming, positive response," Mr. Childs continues.

Mr. Childs continued, "We are happy to announce that LEARN is now generally available at our website. LEARN is unique in that it provides blood bank continuing education opportunities on-line at no charge for Immucor customers."

Through LEARN, Immucor will provide online courses and case studies from industry experts. The case studies allow blood bankers to comment, participate and learn from their peers' experiences.

LEARN can be accessed 24/7 via Immucor's Customer Center at www.immucor.com and provides blood bankers with the knowledge to advance the practice of transfusion medicine and improve patient outcomes.
