Impact Analytical Opens New State-of-the-Art Laboratory Facility

Impact Analytical has begun operations in a new 17,000-square-foot facility.

“This facility is truly state-of-the-art for laboratory testing and expands our capacity by more than 20 percent,” said Impact Analytical Business Manager Eric Hill. “It was designed to maximize efficiency, safety and standardization, so we are able to better serve our customer’s needs. The laboratory spaces were designed specifically to match our work process.”

Impact Analytical provides analytical testing services to more than 300 companies worldwide. At its new location at 1940 N. Stark Road in Midland, Mich., more than 35 scientists can operate more than 80 instruments in six areas:
•    Elemental Analysis
•    Gas Separation
•    Liquid Separation
•    Microscopy
•    Molecular Characterization
•    Thermal and Mechanical Properties

“With our scientists and these facilities, Impact Analytical is easily in the top tier of analytical labs,” Hill said. “Demand for our services has been rising every year, so we have been hiring additional staff and shortening turnaround times. Our new facility enables us to continue to improve our services to our clients.”
