New Company to Specialize in Clinical Kit Manufacturing, Sample Logistics, and Sample Storage

Archiva Biologistics will focus on the design and manufacture of clinical collection kits, innovative laboratory requisition documents, sample logistics, and sample storage. All facets of Archiva are operationally linked and managed with GlobeSyncTM, an enterprise-wide 21-CFR-part 11 compliant Laboratory Information Management System, and Manufacturing software platform. GlobeSync is a proprietary software system and data portal developed at Cenetron Diagnostics.

Archiva will be housed in a recently completed 42,000 sq. foot facility, with state-of-the art manufacturing and sample storage capabilities.

Archiva customers are able to utilize individual services, such as kit building or sample storage, or can take advantage of a full complement of services from protocol review, kit design, sample logistics, sample storage, and testing.

New customers to Archiva include pharma and biotech companies, national reference laboratories, in-vitro diagnostic companies, and academic institutions.

Dwight DuBois, CEO, commented, “Archiva BioLogistics has been in development for several years. We recognized that high quality, cost containment, and maximum efficiency of clinical trial and reference laboratory work starts with flawless sample collection, transportation, and storage practices. We have come up with innovative, user-friendly answers to this common problem, based largely on feedback from customers with unmet needs.”

Vice President of Operations Brandon Harper commented, “By utilizing proven processes and best practices developed at Cenetron, Archiva is able to provide a complete sample management solution for a project of any size and for any location worldwide. Many of Archiva’s new clients are from outside our traditional pharma client base, and include diagnostic companies, specialty laboratories, and academic institutions.”

Cenetron Diagnostics is a premier provider of molecular laboratory services, providing support for anti-viral and oncology drug development programs, and pharmacogenomics. Founded in 1995, Cenetron has supported pivotal global trials in North and South America, Europe, Africa and the Pacific Rim. Cenetron's client list includes leading pharmaceutical clients in the United States and Europe.
