13th Annual Partnerships in Clinical Trials Congress: Visionary insights into pioneering approaches and transparency in clinical trial partnerships

This year’s event will focus on enhancing transparency in partnerships to improve quality, maximise resources and accelerate clinical development. Included in the Keynote sessions is a high-level discussion on identifying trends, delivering data faster and providing holistic views of actions and communications throughout a study. Stream A on Day One (5th November 2014) will challenge existing outsourcing models, lead the debate on the best outsourcing strategies by therapeutic area, and assess operational risk sharing between partners. Case studies throughout the stream will bring these discussions to life, giving examples of both good – and – bad practice in the sector. The Partnering in Risk-Based Monitoring stream on Day One is expected to draw large number of delegates at this year’s Congress. The session will assess the real-life applications of risk-based monitoring and how the concept can be practically implemented. An interactive hub, new for 2014, will go on to explore the key metrics that have worked successfully for trials where risk based monitoring techniques have been applied. Stream B on 5th November 2014, will focus on Disruptive Innovation and identify how new technologies can result in stronger outsourcing processes. Speakers will explore sponsor/ CRO responsibilities for innovation, as well as examine strategies to access innovation from external providers.
