PREMIER Biosoft and Bruker Corporation have entered a reselling agreement pursuant to which Bruker will co-market and resell Premier's SimLipid® and SimMet, high throughput informatics tools for lipid and metabolite data analysis.

Integration with Bruker's mass spectrometric workflows will enable new powerful ways for researchers to seamlessly generate, process, and analyze data. Bruker's instruments produce highly accurate broad spectrum data with excellent resolution. SimMet and SimLipid, coupled with Bruker's robust analysis platform, would facilitate automatic LC-MS and MS/MS data processing workflows and accurate identification and quantification of lipids and metabolites.

According to Aiko Barsch, Market Manager at Bruker Corp., "The opportunity to combine Premier's informatics expertise with Bruker's industry leading mass spectrometers will create significant benefits for the metabolomics and lipidomics research community. With this collaboration, we hope to address several of the challenges in advanced biomarker and translational research"

"Our first offering to the mass spectrometry community, SimGlycan, has received excellent acceptance in the market. With SimLipid and SimMet, we hope to serve the research community even further with advancements in data interpretation and visualization," said Arun Apte, CEO at PREMIER Biosoft.
