Applied Rigaku Technologies, Inc. has introduced the new Rigaku NEX QC Quant EZ series of low-cost, high-resolution benchtop Energy Dispersive X-ray Fluorescence (EDXRF) elemental analyzers at the 2015 Pittsburgh Conference (Pittcon) in New Orleans, Louisiana.

On exhibit at Booth #3727, the versatile NEX QC QuantEZ series of EDXRF spectrometers delivers elemental measurements across a diverse range of matrices-from homogeneous liquids of any viscosity to solids, thin films, alloys, slurries, powders and pastes.

QuantEZ analytical software was specifically designed for the NEX QC QuantEZ series. It is not only user-friendly, but sophisticated and powerful enough for the most complex analyses.

Derived from the NEX QC series of elemental analyzers, the NexQC QuantEZ series was designed especially for heavy industrial use. The QuantEZ analytical software that differentiates this series runs under the Microsoft® Windows® operating system on either a laptop or a benchtop personal computer.

The software offers all the functions required for calibration and routine operation. Based on the acclaimed, easy-to-use Rigaku flow bar interface, the QuantEZ software walks the user through steps required to set up either an empirical or a fundamental parameters application.

The NEXQC QuantEZ series includes the NEX QC QuantEZ EDXRF spectrometer, optimized for routine quality control elemental analysis applications, and the NEX QC+ QuantEZ analyzer, designed for more demanding applications where analysis time and sample throughput are critical.

The NEX QC+ QuantEZ spectrometer employs next generation silicon drift detector (SDD) technology, enabling an extremely high count rate capability with excellent spectral resolution to deliver the highest precision analytical results in the shortest possible measurement times.
