Magritek launch new Spinsolve 60 proton, fluorine and carbon systems at the ACS National Meeting in San Diego, 13th March, 2016.

With an innovative high quality 60 MHz Halbach magnet squeezed into the compact Spinsolve® spectrometer form factor, Magritek's new Spinsolve 60 NMR spectrometers set the bar for 60MHz benchtop NMR instruments. For the launch at the annual meeting of the American Chemical Society National Meeting & Exposition in San Diego, Magritek will host an academia and industry workshop inviting delegates to discover the powerful capabilities of benchtop NMR on Tuesday 15th March.

Having become the leader in the benchtop NMR market with their robust and compact 43 MHz Spinsolve spectrometers, Magritek have extended the family to provide a solution for those customers and applications that need 60MHz capability. The results speak for themselves and are quite remarkable for a compact benchtop NMR spectrometer. Using Magritek's patented Halbach magnet technology, the new 60 MHz units are initially available for the nuclei combinations proton/fluorine or proton/fluorine/carbon with phosphorus and other nuclei soon to be added.

All Spinsolve systems come with beautiful, easy-to-use software that has a clean, intuitive interface. Software switching nuclei and selection of experiments is easy, even for the beginner. Powerful scripting capability enables several experiments to be queued and run automatically. It also makes possible multi-nuclei reaction monitoring within a single experiment. Scripts are displayed graphically to provide a clear picture of the programmed sequence, and to show progress during the run.

Speaking about the launch of the Spinsolve 60 spectrometers, Magritek CEO, Andrew Coy, says “building on the worldwide success of our 43 MHz family of NMR systems, we now offer our users the option to have a high quality Magritek 60 MHz benchtop NMR spectrometer for those applications that require this capability. Our new 60 MHz system provides customers with an exceptional level of performance while maintaining the same ease of use and low maintenance of all Spinsolve system. The Spinsolve 60 does not need to spin the sample to get good results and therefore compressed gas and a complicated and fragile sample spinner are not required. And all of this comes in the same Spinsolve compact benchtop form-factor that delights our customers.”
