Read time: Less than a minute

Designed to complement the Thermo Scientific ISQ Series Single Quadrupole GC-MS system, the new kit delivers simple separations on a single CG column. It covers the entire concentration range required, as opposed to the conventional two column method. This reduces the time required for development and implementation of the method from weeks to only a few days.

The new kit consists of pre-developed and validated methods; a user guide for aided implementation of the method under either the Thermo Scientific TraceFinder Environmental and Food Safety (EFS) software or the Thermo Scientific Chromeleon Chromatography Data system (CDS) software; a TG-5MS GC column; and other related materials to reduce the amount of time and effort required for method development and implementation.

Shorter method implementation time
Separations can be performed on a single GC column, which reduces the installation-to-revenue time

Increased confidence in data quality
Extended dynamic range detection system covers a 0.2-200 ppm range with a single column and liner

Reduced helium usage
Thermo Scientific Instant Connect Helium Saver Module saves helium carrier gas, a non-renewable resource, resulting in reduced cost per analysis without compromising the instrument’s performance

Improved productivity
The ISQ system can analyze more dirty samples per day, with maximum uptime
