ARTEL has launched its new corporate website – www.artel-usa.com.

Featuring content covering topics from pipette calibration to performance verification of automated liquid handlers and proper pipetting technique, the new ARTEL website is a comprehensive resource to help laboratories optimize their liquid handling operations. It also includes information and multimedia content on ARTEL’s advanced liquid handling quality assurance products, technologies, and services.

A valuable feature of ARTEL’s website is its Resource Library, which includes information on all aspects of liquid handling. This tool provides visitors access to a number of technical papers, informational case studies, application notes, and scientific presentations. These resources address issues that directly affect the quality of laboratory data, providing guidance on topics such as meeting regulatory standards, minimizing liquid handling error, determining accuracy of serial dilution protocols, and how environmental conditions affect pipetted volumes.

Also included within the Resource Library are ARTEL Lab Reports, which are how-to and informational articles for users of liquid handling instrumentation. Featured Lab Reports address optimal pipette calibration frequency, the difference between and importance of accuracy and precision measurements, ergonomic pipetting, and other relevant topics.

“With advancing automation, more stringent regulation, and the use of smaller liquid volumes, liquid handling quality assurance is more important than ever for data integrity,” says Kirby Pilcher, President, ARTEL.

“By making ARTEL’s extensive liquid handling expertise available through the value-added content on our new website, we are demonstrating commitment to our mission – to raise awareness of the consequences of liquid handling error and to help laboratories put appropriate systems and best practices in place so they can always trust their results.”
