Dr. Otto Max Schaefer has resigned from his interim task as Managing Director and has now turned his full concentration back to his central role in the management of the NETZSCH Group.

A change has taken place in the management of the NETZSCH Group’s Analyzing & Testing business unit. On July 1st, 2008, Dr. Jurgen Blumm was promoted to the management team. He is now the Managing Director responsible for sales, marketing and applications. Dr. Thomas Denner, Division Manager, will remain in charge of R&D, development and production.

Dr. Thomas Denner has been a Managing Director of NETZSCH-Geratebau GmbH since September 1st, 2005, responsible for “Technology & Engineering“, and is Division Manager of the Analyzing & Testing business unit. He will find a strong personality at his side in Dr. Jurgen Blumm.

Dr. Jurgen Blumm (39) has his PhD in physics and has already been with the company for 13 years. Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, he had already worked in various leading positions at NETZSCH-Geratebau GmbH, most recently as “Head of Applications and Services”.

The stated mission of the new management team is to continue the success story of NETZSCH-Geratebau GmbH, which was founded in Selb, Germany in 1962.
