BioClinica®, Inc. has announced the opening of a Research Triangle Park (RTP) office in North Carolina in response to a rapidly expanding customer base of study sponsors and Clinical Research Organizations (CROs) with whom it has strategic partnerships.

"This strengthens our commitment in RTP as well as the greater Southern US," BioClinica CEO John Hubbard said. BioClinica serves a dozen customers within the region, including a growing number of CROs that utilize its technology and support services to provide enhanced offerings to study sponsors. "The new quarters put us within arm's reach of our customers," Hubbard added.

BioClinica's entire eClinical product line will be available from this location. The Company's industry-leading eClinical technologies include: the Microsoft Office-Smart OnPoint CTMS; Express EDC; Trident IRT; predictive clinical supply Optimizer; and Compass, the intelligent solution to risk-based monitoring.

The RTP office, located at 4021 Stirrup Creek Drive in Durham, is outfitted with conferencing and communications equipment for hosting customer and partner meetings. A large classroom space will serve as a hands-on training environment for product users and strategic partners. "This gives our customers and staff a place to collaborate face-to-face and a demo environment to try out our eClinical technologies," Hubbard remarked.

Several home-based employees, many with Company ties since the early 2000's, will work in the new space, initially designed to accommodate 40 employees and with room for expansion. eClinical product development, project management, data management and sales are currently represented with plans for future expansion. Company-wide, BioClinica has more than 1,300 employees working in a network of offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.

BioClinica will host its annual Trial Blazers Customer Conference in the Orlando, Florida area on May 5 and 6.
